Auto-post to Bluesky

Schedule and auto-post video to Bluesky

Bluesky's feeds are chronological by default, so showing up regularly matters more than anywhere else. PostingClips posts a short clip with a caption under 300 characters at the times you set — generated from an idea, picked from our library or uploaded from your own footage.

Bluesky does not use OAuth; the connection is made through our posting provider with an app password you create in Bluesky's settings — your main password stays with you.

How a clip is posted to Bluesky

One MP4 per post, under 60 seconds and 50 MB, with a caption cut to 300 characters. Bluesky has no AI label, so clips with AI-generated footage carry a short disclosure in the text.

What you need before connecting

  • A Bluesky account.
  • An app password, created in Bluesky under Settings → App passwords, used during connection.
  • Keep clips under 60 seconds and 50 MB; clips generated with AI always are.

AI-generated clips on Bluesky

Bluesky has no AI-content flag, so clips with AI-generated footage carry a short disclosure line in the caption, inside the 300-character limit. Your own uploads and library footage are posted without it.

FAQ

Bluesky questions

Why does Bluesky ask for an app password instead of a login screen?

Bluesky does not offer OAuth for third-party posting yet. An app password is a separate, revocable password made for exactly this purpose — you can delete it at any time from Bluesky's settings without changing your real password.

What are Bluesky's video limits?

MP4, up to 60 seconds, up to 50 MB and up to 1920 × 1080. Clips generated with AI fit easily; check longer edits and your own uploads against the limits.
