Schedule and auto-post Reels to Instagram
Reels are where Instagram hands out reach, and they demand a steady stream of short vertical video. PostingClips helps you keep that stream going: describe the clip in one sentence, pick an AI model, and a vertical Reel is generated, captioned and scheduled on your Business or Creator account.
If you would rather post footage you shot yourself, upload it — or start from our footage library — and PostingClips handles the rest: the caption, the hashtags, the timing and the publishing, through Instagram's official API.
How a clip is posted to Instagram
A single video is published as a Reel and shared to your feed. Clips generated with AI are marked with Meta's "made with AI" flag through the API. Captions are written for Instagram's tone — a hook, a line or two, then hashtags — and kept under the platform's limit.
What you need before connecting
- An Instagram Business or Creator account — personal accounts cannot publish through the API.
- Switch the account type in Instagram under Settings → Account type if it is still personal.
- The account should be linked to a Facebook Page, as Meta's API expects.
AI-generated clips on Instagram
Meta adds an "AI info" label to content flagged as AI-generated. PostingClips sets that flag on every Reel with AI-generated footage and adds a disclosure line to the caption. Reels made from your own uploads or from library footage are posted without it.

Instagram questions
Why does Instagram need a Business or Creator account?
Instagram's Graph API, the official way to publish from a third-party tool, only works with professional accounts. Switching from a personal account takes a minute in Instagram's settings and does not change your handle or followers.
Are the clips posted as Reels or as regular videos?
As Reels, shared to your feed as well. Vertical 9:16 clips are what Reels are built for, and it is the format PostingClips generates by default.
Can I post the same clip on Instagram and Facebook at once?
Yes. Tick both accounts when you post the clip (or in an automation) and each gets its own caption and a slightly different time — the Instagram Reel and the Facebook Reel never go out as identical copies.
